Peppered Leopard

Hi guys

Its been a while since I have done an outfit post for two reasons, one not actually having a camera for the best part of a month and the second being the boy taking rubbish pictures on my iphone. Last weekend we where invited to a lovely 25th wedding anniversary meal at a gorgeous country club. I would of taken pictures of the venue but since I now want my non existent wedding there I'm keeping it to myself.

Dress - H & M £14.99
Blazer - H & M
Belt - Forever 21
Shoes - M & S (Actually my work shoes)

Now the keen eyed of you would notice I actually whore this when we went to Harry Potter but I dressed it down with no belt flat shoes and my leather jacket. This is my first leopard print dress and I have to say I love it, now everything with leopard print is catching my eye and I have to tell my self not to buy it all I don't want to turn into that girl.

What do you think guys a classic wardrobe stable or send it to the charity shop kind of dress?

Mac Daddy Will Make You, Jump Jump

Hi Guys

Its that time of year again were we are all running to the shops to buy our jumpers and this year I've decided its all I want to wear. All I want is to wear my leggings a long jumper and curl up on the sofa with a hot chocolate, fire on and a good book.

Hence even though I'm meant to be seriously skint I couldn't say no to this, the material is really nice. Its lovely and warm but not to thick that it can't be worn under a jacket, its all about the layers my friend.

The main question is where did I get it from well H & M where else. I'm literally wanting every thing they sell at the moment. Its funny how you fall in and out of love with certain shops. Every time I go in I seem to come out after spending way more money then I should but at £14.99 who could say no really.

Have you stared the winter wardrobe shopping yet? what do you think a cosy look or to casual?

Holiday Poser

Hi guys

One thing I noticed the last few times I've been abroad it only seems to be us British who really 'dress up' for a night out. Either that or I make way to much effort, however my hotel this year defiantly catered towards the Europeans. Now I don't want to make a sweeping generalisation but the people in my hotel looked like they had come straight from the pool just added a little make up.

Hence how I didn't really get to wear my usual type of outfits but here's a few of the nicer ones.

I bought this French Connection bandage dress last Christmas time as I think It was about £60 and even though the picture doesn't show its very well its actually a burnt orange colour. I stopped wearing it after seeing pictures of myself in it and actually tried to sell in on Ebay with no luck but with a tan I feel so much better in it.

I used this dress in another outfit post I did when we actually got some sun at home check out how I styled it  here. This time however I picked a little skinny pink belt and a pair of strappy pair of pink heels.
The dress its self was something life £16 from H & M and that why I love shopping there all the time.

There's Nothing To It
This is actually a trick picture from my holiday last year, I did wear this outfit this year but the picture was even worse then this one, yes I'm vain. All of this outfit is from River Island last year in different shopping trips but these are defiantly my favourite shorts. I love the fact they are a little bit tailored and with a loose blouse I think they look great.

Hope you like a outfits from my holidays I felt really good in these outfits but I guess everything looks better with a tan.

Landed

Hi Guys

So I'm back from Tunisia, well actually I've been back since Saturday but on Sunday me and the guys from work participated in It's A Knock Out and ill do a separate post about that.

I thought I would share a few of my holiday pics with you and mix that in with a little sprinkle of outfit posts.

This was taken in Monastir, Its the mausoleum of Habib ibn Ali Bourguiba who was the first president of Tunisia only back in the 1950s.

Here's a few items I bought just before we jetted off and I couldn't be happier with them. Usually around the pool I'm a denim shorts and vest top kind of girl but this year I thought I could try a few cover ups.

Both of these are from H & M and I felt really good wearing these, you know when its lunch time and you wonder off with a wet bum and feel like everyone is staring at the mess that you look, or is that just me.

The blue one cost me £10 and is very thin material which is perfect for drying quickly in the sun. I just made sure I wore it with a similar coloured bikini.

This one has to be my favourite but this picture doesn't do it justice and I'm blaming the boy for the photography skills. This cost me £16 but is better material, it didn't come with the belt but I had a skinny pink belt and it matched perfect. I have to say the collar detail and buttons really make it a little more dressy without be to much worn with a simple pair of sandals.

I hope you've all had fab holidays this year and I'll be doing another post with my night time outfits.

Scarf It Up

Hi guys

I said to myself this winter I'm making it my mission to accessories my outfits more as I'm not very good at it. So one main thing I'm going for is scarves, in all shapes colours and sizes.

Zara Skull Scarf, Skull Scarf, Zara Scarf, How To Wear A Skull Scarf
I See Them
I couldn't believe my luck when I spotted this beauty in Zara when I wasn't really looking for it. The only thing I wish was different is they should do this in a load of different colours as I would buy them all, seriously. They do do two similar scarves with the same print in different colours but not with the lovely gold sequin detail.

The main things your all waiting for is how much it cost me and yes it wasn't dirt cheap but I think for the quality £17.99 its much cheaper then the McGueen ones I always covert.

Zara Skull Scarf, Skull Scarf, Zara Scarf, How To Wear A Skull Scarf
Its All In The Detail
This is the way I would usually wear it but I love the Idea of wearing it with a summer dress making it a little bit more interesting. I'm going to be taking this on my holidays so ill try and take plenty of pictures to show you if I do anything interesting.

Hola!!

How are we all on this fine day? Ok I don't know why put I'm in an awfully good very chirpy mood. Yes I am one of them people that tend to over happy and enthusiastic and some how that isn't reliant on caffeine.

I am meant to be on a little bit of a spending ban as its the boys birthday and its been V-fest this month oh and I'm going on holiday next week!! but as soon as I had seen this I just fell in love with it and had to have it.

I am also a proper sucker for packaging and all if the Estella Bartlett stuff is amazing. I have already added some of the bracelets to my wish list after pay day. The next best thing about this necklace is the price for £14 I thought I was getting and absolute bargain.

Sunshine After A Rainy Day

Hi guys, I hope you are all well

Here's a little outfit post of what I wore to a wedding reception on Saturday. I actually borrowed this dress off my mother and is a little to big but thought it was lovely and summery.

Dress- H & M £29.99 click here to purchase
Shoes - Carvela
Bag - Ted Baker

The pattern on this is a nice flowery one with a nice splash of colour with the green leaves. I also would wear this with a nice green or white blazer but the weather was in my favour so I didn't need it for once.
The shoes are very old pair from Carvela and are in a nude satin with crystal bows.
The handbag is my go to bag from Ted Baker last winter with a quilted pattern on it.

Hope you liked my post and its inspired you into a little summary pattern.

Don't Rain On My Parade

Hi guys

How are we all? I like many am praying for this so called summer weather that is meant to be coming our way. But in the mean time I can pretend its nice and sunny outside and wear an outfit to match without showing loads of skin.

Now let me explain the angle of this picture just in case your wondering, I had my camera on the smallest tripod you have ever seen on top of my garden table hoping that it was at least aimed in the right direction. What I do for a decent picture when the boy isn't at my beckon call.

Park Life

Hi guys

I thought I would share a little outfit post with you, I usually make the boy take pictures of me in the dinning room against a plain wall but while the sun was shinning I thought outside pictures would be nice. Now I must explain the reason for the frowny face, Its half due to squinting half due to the boy rushing me saying can we get this over with just in case some one sees us!!

Now the top underneath the cardigan is an very old vest top from whistles that I love but don't wear very often. The cardigan its self is from good old Primark and if I remember correctly was £5. The jeans are from River Island and are a skinny fit just turned up at the bottom. The boots are another River Island purchase I got in the sale for £7.50 check them out in this post here. The handbag is my Mulberry that I'm very lucky to own and treasure it like a child.

Festival Frolics

Hi guys

I like many others are praying that this awful weather has vanished and the sunshine is cracking the flag by the time the festival I'm going to is here.

I'm lucky enough to be going to V-Fest this year as me and the boy bought our tickets straight after last years festival on the early bird special. Ill obviously be taking loads of pictures and doing a blog post on my antics but in these last few weeks I've been hunting the sales to find festival bargains and putting together my looks.

Now its safe to say I'm not even contemplating the weather being anything but sunny so I've gone short shorts all the way.

Lets start with the footwear shall we, these boots were an absolute steal!! from the River Island sale. If your a little bit sad like me you would of been queuing up outside your local River Island on Tuesday at the crack of dawn to make sure you got your wrist band to get an extra 50% off sale items. I did this last year with my friend and got loads of bargains so when I found out they where doing it again I jumped at the chance and was queuing up at 7.30am to get exactly what I was after. On a small not to River Island though I was very disappointed that it was only four items this year instead of 10 like last time but you shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth as they say.

Lets start with my only shoe purchase recently with the boots. The boots started life at £75 as they are real leather and were reduced to £30 in the sale so I got them at £15 and couldn't believe my luck. However when I got to the check out I noticed they had a broken zip on one side and they where the last ones. So before I broke into tears over the loss of the boots the very nice sales assistant gave me over 50% off  and I got them for £7.50.

As for the broken zip I managed to get it working when I got home so even though it was missing its nice little tazzle on one side they can still be worn. I did take them to the little cobbler man in town and for the very reasonable price of £3.95 has done a little job on the zip so it looks all most as good as new and I'm going to keep my eye out for something I can replace the tazzle with.

Next is an out fit that I'm hoping to wear either with the tan boots or the good classic black hunters if the weather is not in our favour. The top if from International which yes is still actually going where I live believe it not and cost £7 in the sale and I also got another sale item for free. The shorts are a lovely pale green not something I would normally wear but a nice change from regular blue denim and cost £10 in the sale reduced from £20 another River Island purchase.

This lovely pink blouse as many may recognise is from Zara and I got it in the sale for £29.99 which wasn't much cheaper then full price at £39.99 but I really like this and decided it was worth it. This is the first blouse I've bought that have the lovely collar studs which I have wanted for a while and I am tempted to try and replicate this myself on some of the blouses I already own.
The very short shorts that I'm not 100% sure ill be wearing without a lot of gym sessions are another super saver River Island steal for £10 deduced from £40 so I couldn't say no. The gold studs were what caught my eye originally and I thought they would match the detail on the blouse perfectly.

I'm sorry to keep banging on about the leather jacket I bought from Zara a while ago (check it out here) but it seems to have started a love for leather that I never new I had. Last year I bought some rather expensive grey shorts from All Saints that I have to admit were a good investment but because I'm vain I don't really want to wear them for V again this year so I bought a good pair of black shorts instead. The shorts are slightly high waisted perfect for tucking in T-shirts and cost £7.50 reduced from £30.
The grey t-shirt was from International and was my free item in the sale, I'm not sure if ill go for this T-shirt or my grey spiked one from Zara (check it out here) with the shorts but I do like this kind of rock chick look.

Come rain or shine I will be going to V-festival but in the rare case it does rain in England I have purchased some classic skinny black jeans that I can wear with my black Hunters. I cant believe that I didn't own any black jeans and slightly glad that Jack Wills didn't have my size in when I went to purchase some from them for £50 last week as these only cost me £10 for my last River Island Super Saver item.

I hope you have enjoyed reading about my sale bargains and my planned outfits for V-festival, I will be doing a lengthy post on my antics and if you guys are interest Ill do another post about what I cant live without even when in a field.

Thanks
