Chocolate Addict Gone Sweet

Hi Guys!

I'm not sure if I've confessed this before but I am the biggest chocolate addict in the world! I don't know how I'm not obese! If we go out for a meal without even looking at the menu my dessert is always a hot chocolate fudge cake with ice cream no questions asked. Oh and I don't share food, we once went out for a meal and the waitress asked the boy if we needed two spoons, I think I might have bit her head of a little as I shouted No woops.

The other week on another trip to the Trafford centre I decided to head to my favourite part of Selfridges the Food Court for a desert after a lovely full English. Where I spotted these lovely Macaroons, now I have never tried them before and was sure to head back to safe waters of the chocolate fudge cake but decided to take the plunge.

The English Rose Bakery

Now these where not cheap at £5 for five but if your going to try something you really need to try a few different varieties to make a good informed decision. The flavours if my memory serves me right are, Raspberry, Strawberries and Cream, Vanilla, Hazelnut and not forgetting Chocolate.

English Rose Bakery Macaroons

I think I may have found an alternative to my hot chocolate fudge cake but don't worry I haven't forgot about my erm roots and the Chocolate one was my favourite. They are so sweet and sugary but in such a good way but still full of flavour.

Please go and try some good quality Macaroons if you haven't before I recommend them for anyone with a sweet tooth.

Thanks for reading

hey sweet, do you mind removing the 'captcha/word verifification' setting? Since Blogger's recent changes, they also upgraded the strenght and difficulty of the captcha making it even harder to decipher. If you are concerned by spamming, you can still choose to set your comments on 'approval only' maybe? I hope this doesn't sound too cheeky for a request. It would make commenting a whole lot easier :) xx
